Building an Engaged Community

Each donor is regarded as a full participant in the projects supported by the IHP Endowment Fund. Tis support is precious — without it, none of these initiatives could come to life.

Raising Funds

Thanks to its many donors, IHP promotes the outreach of scientific culture throughout society, reaching not only specialists but also wider audiences who may feel distant from science. It fosters bridges between science, the economy, and industry.

A special focus is placed on teaching and education, with the aim of inspiring new vocations in science, particularly mathematics. The Fund also works to promote equal opportunities by supporting initiatives for underprivileged youth, with a specific effort to encourage the participation of young women, who remain underrepresented in the sciences.

Until the opening of the Maison Poincaré on September 30, 2023, the IHP Fund focused primarily on the dissemination of scientific culture, particularly through the creation of the museum. Since 2024, it has also been committed to supporting research by funding thematic programs at IHP and facilitating the participation of researchers — especially women. The Fund also highlights scientific culture and heritage, for instance the collection of mathematical models housed at IHP.

Corporate and Individual Support in France 

Corporate contributions are made through sponsorship agreements in the form of financial support, equipment, and/or expertise, and are eligible for corporate tax reductions (IS)* in France.
Individuals can contribute either through direct donations or via crowdfunding campaigns. In both cases, donations are eligible for income tax reductions (IR)** also in France.

* Corporate sponsors in France benefit from:

• Up to 60% of the donation amount deductible from corporate tax, within a limit of €10,000 or 0.5‰ of annual turnover (before tax).

• Invitations to activities financed by the Fund (symposia, conferences, exhibitions, etc.) and benefits valued at up to 25% of the donation amount.

** Individual donors in France benefit from an income tax reduction equal to 66% of the value of their donation.

For companies and individuals based in the United States or Hong Kong:
Join the American Friends of Paris House of Math or the Hong Kong Friends Fund to support IHP and the Maison Poincaré, while benefiting from the respective tax advantages available in each country.

Corporate and Individual Support abroad 

For companies and individuals based in the EU, we are part of Transnational Giving Europe which allows tax-effective cross-border donations.

For companies and individuals based in the United States or Hong Kong : join the American Friends of Paris House of Math or the Hong Kong Friends Fund to support IHP and Maison Poincaré, while benefiting from the respective tax advantages available in each country.
