La Française des Jeux offers a wide range of lottery and sports betting games to a very large audience, which are fun and recreational games reserved for adult players. It works with experts and has developed an analysis grid that makes it possible to evaluate the level of security and sensitivity of the games. It supports academic research on gambling, in partnership with several universities. It supports several associations that help players in difficulty through sponsorship actions and supports experimental projects on reducing the risks and damage associated with excessive gambling. FDJ has thus become a reference in the field of lotteries at the European level. La Française des Jeux maintains a regular dialogue with representatives of civil society organizations. In this context, in 2017 it became a partner of the Henri Poincaré Institute, which wants to offer the general public a reflection on chance and mathematics. This is why a sponsorship agreement was established between the IHP Endowment Fund and La Française des Jeux to specify the conditions under which La Française des Jeux would provide its financial support and its contribution as a sponsor of the Endowment Fund for the development of the House of Mathematics. The contribution concerns the temporary exhibition Comme par Hasard created by the IHP in partnership with the Maison des mathématiques et de l'informatique in Lyon, where it is currently presented, before leaving for Toulouse, then Paris in 2020.
