For its new crowdfunding campaign, the Endowment Fund of the Institut Henri Poincaré invites you to take part, step by step, in the creation of a unique museum space in France dedicated to the mathematical sciences: the Maison Poincaré.

The aim of this ambitious and innovative project is to place mathematics back at the heart of society, by fostering new forms of exchange between researchers and the general public. Through interactive exhibitions and activities, the Maison Poincaré will offer educational content tailored to non-specialist audiences within a learning space accessible to all.
Ahead of its inauguration in autumn 2022, we are appealing to the generosity of as many people as possible. A first campaign on the Commeon platform, divided into four founding chapters, explored some of the Maison Poincaré’s key themes:
Chapter 1 focused on mediation tools to “Approach mathematics differently.”
Chapter 2 was dedicated to the “Women and men who advance mathematical research.”
Chapter 3, exploring the links between “Art and Science,” introduced us to the Rulpidon, the emblem of the Maison Poincaré.
Chapter 4 highlighted the collective dimension of mathematical work, symbolized by the blackboard.
